DOPPIO WEEKEND DA STELLE SEGNATO WIGG!

Grandi risultati nel Campionato Europeo per il Top Trial Team- Miton nei due weekend rispettivamente corsi in Polonia (19 luglio) e Repubblica Ceca (26 luglio).
Alex Wigg, in grande forma durante questo 2009 con la vittoria del Mondiale Under23, ha dimostrato di avere le carte in regola anche per l'agguato al titolo Europeo. Peccato per quell'inizio di stagione in Portogallo con un nono posto abbastanza compromettente.
Per precisare, in Polonia, il pilota londinese ha fatto gara a se. I 6 punti di vantaggio sui 23 totali sul secondo sono stati abbastanza per dimostrare il dominio della Beta Top Trial Team.
In Repubblica Ceca invece, dopo un avvio perfetto con sole 10 penalità, la seconda tornata diventava difficile con 4 massime penalità accusate su zone precedentemente passate senza problemi.
Jack Challoner dopo un buon quinto posto in Polonia, in Repubblica Ceca con problemi fisici dovuti all'influenza finiva i suoi sforzi in settima posizione a quattro penalità dalla quinta piazza.

I complimenti vanno alla Maglia Azzura che con Luca Cotone, nella categoria 125cc, si sono aggiudicati la prima posizione in Repubblica Ceca. FORZA ITALIANI!

Alexz Wigg (JLI TTT beta Evo) continued his podium run in the UEM European championship held at Tanvald in the Czech Republic (25/7/09). After last week’s great win Wiggy was fired up and had a great start to the event where the sections rode a little easier than first thought but were still a good test.

Finishing lap one on 10 marks lost Wiggy was in the driving seat with Gubian on 15 (one on time) and Gomez further back on 17. Continuing up to section 8 still clean second time around Alexz rushed this section as time was tight and not being spot on succumbed to his first loss of the lap. Unfortunately this set the tone for the next few sections where he managed to grab another 3 fives before reaching the end.
“I threw it away really, I should have won and the fives were just where I wasn't line perfect or I made a few mistakes which really cost me. I am happy with my riding at the moment but I should have done better after the first lap" said Alexz.

Gubian on 25, Gomez on 30 and Alexz on 31 were the top scores on the day. Jack Challoner was ill for alot of last week and rode well considering for seventh place, but Jono Richardson finished second to Cotone in the juniors followed closely by Jack Sheppard.

Alexz is at Brimham Rocks next weekend for the BTC, followed by the North Berks "SUPERTRIAL" a last a local event!
